Watchtower: cost, levels and upgrades
Short answer
The Watchtower shoots raiders and wild hordes on their way to your gates, and lets you see further across the map.
What it does
Each Watchtower fires at attackers in range, and every level adds range and damage. Towers also widen how far you can see on the realm map.
At level 3 you pick longer range or faster fire; at level 5 a flare tower that spots marches further out or a ballista that hits Brutes twice as hard.

Specialization paths
At levels 3 and 5 an upgrade asks you to pick one of two paths. The choice is permanent.

Tips
- At night towers reach a little less far, so a blood moon hits harder than a daytime raid.
- A Ballista is the answer to neighbours who raid with Brutes.
- Put towers where raiders walk in: near the roads your rivals come from.
Questions
How much does the Watchtower cost in Voxhorde?
Building it costs 30 scrap, 35 timber and takes 20 min. The first upgrade, to level 2, costs 55 scrap, 65 timber and takes 40 min.
What is the Watchtower's max level?
Level 10. Levels past 2 need island expansions: level 3 needs 2 and level 5 needs 3. Levels 6 to 10 also need a league reached at least once: Iron for 6, Steel for 7, Chrome for 8 and Warlord for 9 and 10.
