Voxhorde is a game for iPhone published by XY Space Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game and this website collect, why, how long we keep it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Questions go to voxhorde@xyspace.dev.
What we collect
Your account
- Sign in with Apple: a stable Apple user identifier, and the email Apple shares with us (often a private relay address). We do not receive your Apple ID password.
- Game Center: your Game Center player identifiers and your Game Center display name, plus the signature Game Center provides so we can confirm it is really you.
- Sessions: a sign-in token stored in your iPhone's Keychain, and on our servers the session's creation time, the IP address and the app's user agent when the session was created.
Your game
- Your village name, your settlement, its buildings, resources, horde, research and position on the realm map.
- Game activity: raids, hunts and their replays, mini-game scores, daily rewards, season and leaderboard standings, and reports you send about other village names. Your village name, league, trophies and raids are visible to other players.
- Usage events we use to understand and improve the game, such as the days you play, sessions started, tutorial steps reached, ads watched and notifications opened. These are tied to your account, not to an advertising identifier.
Purchases
- When you buy gold or a pack, Apple processes the payment. We receive the App Store receipt and transaction identifier to verify the purchase and credit your account. We never see your card details.
Notifications
- If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token to send alerts about your settlement (for example an approaching raid or a finished building) and occasional news and events. News and events are picked from how you play, such as the mini-games you play, the hordes you hunt or the rivals you fight, so you only hear about things you already do, at most once a day, and they pause if you ignore them. You can turn off news and events on their own in Options, or all notifications in Options or in iPhone Settings.
Ads
- Voxhorde shows ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Before any ad is requested, the game asks for your consent where required, using Google's User Messaging Platform. Google may collect device and usage information, such as the device's IP address, device model and interactions with ads, to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, as described in Google's policy on partner apps.
- Voxhorde does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). Ads are therefore not personalised using that identifier.
- When you watch a rewarded ad, Google confirms the view to our server so we can grant the reward.
This website
- This site does not use cookies or analytics. Our hosting provider processes standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver pages and protect the service.
Why we use it
- To run your account and the shared realm: sign-in, saving your settlement, raids, leaderboards and seasons.
- To verify purchases and deliver what you bought.
- To send the notifications you allowed.
- To show ads and grant rewards for the ads you choose to watch.
- To keep the game fair and safe: preventing cheating and abuse, and moderating village names.
- To understand how the game is played and make it better.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising outside the game.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts our servers and database.
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple, Game Center, the App Store, in-app purchases and push notification delivery.
- Google provides ads through Google Mobile Ads and its consent platform.
How long we keep it
- Your account and settlement: until you delete your account.
- Notification delivery records: 30 days. Detailed usage events: 90 days, after which only aggregate totals remain.
- Realm news: 7 days. Mini-game challenge records: about a day after they expire.
- Purchase records: as long as needed for accounting and to handle refunds and disputes.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the game: Options, then Account, then Delete account. This permanently removes your account, settlement, raid history, push tokens and Game Center link. You can also email us to request deletion.
- Turn notifications off in Options or iPhone Settings.
- Change your ad consent from the privacy options in the game where offered.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct it, by emailing voxhorde@xyspace.dev. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Voxhorde is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Security and transfers
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with our hosting provider, which may process it in countries other than yours. We limit access to the people who need it to run the game.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the game. See also our terms of use.
