Speed trait: unlock, raid use and counters
Short answer
With Speed equipped, your horde moves faster, so it spends less time under tower fire. It unlocks at Binding Pit level 4.
What it does
Speed raises how fast every raider walks, on the march and inside the fight. Less time in range of towers means fewer losses.
A strong gate still has to come down, so Speed shines against far-off targets and lightly defended villages.
Good at
- Far-off targets
- Quick hunts
- Villages with towers but weak gates
Bad at
- Strong road gates
What beats it
- Upgraded road gates
- Guards posted on the road you come from
Tips
- Use Speed for far-off raids and quick hunts.
- Speed and Runners reach almost anything before the defender can react.
